When are the other players like Pioneer ect. coming out? is it sooner than later?. Or are the other players launching closer to the PS3 launch.
Pushing back the players launch will have PS3 and the BDP-S1 out around the same time and people will see the fully featured player and all it has to offer, but the price will be a problem to most consumers, at the same time Sony can say well if you can't afford the BDP-S1 you can purchase a PS3 at a bargon. little do most people know the stand alone players are far better in quality and have far more capabilities.

Microsoft has a standard of showing the true gameplay of games vs pretty CGI vids they have said this plenty of times they don't want it to back fire on them.( YOU don't see how that translates into SONY fooling people)how can you not they've be doing it for a decade.
WELLLL i think it's a joke the same way you think the 360's a joke. I think the controllers are weak( although i'm glad their working on the analog sensativaty)plus the tilt pad is not practical for standard gaming(widly used on games that is)i don't like a bounch of CGI and PS3 will decive gamer's with CGI and pass it off for next-gen graphics. A PSP is not complex enough to be hacked my sell phones pretty safe too. PS3 is like a computer and other gaming console's have been hacked. You Sony fanboys will say anything to defend PS3 like it's you're mom being talked about. And it's easy to see who's the kids posting vs the adults.

What is it with the PS3 fans and this 100 million BS. The (NES) controller was the industry standard at one time. Dream Cast had a better pad. The dual shock is is a peice of sh!t compared to new controllers it's called progress.
Some are CGI movies/pics and the rest ingame. Remember the PS3 will utilize Blu-ray so this beast will be good at mixing game and movie.(with the help of the powerful Cell) It's a great gimmic to convince/trick the masses.
People that like movies will spend $500 on the stand alone HD-DVD. No cares if you can play games on a Blu-Disc exept fanboys and some dev's, everybody here knows more about video games than the people that work at the gaming stores. So you're opinion is null. Every time i talk to an game store employee im teaching them somthing new.
